Ceasars have launched a new mobile sportsbook app that will cover 8 states initially. This is a big step in the right direction for the Ceasars brand and will help them to compete at the same level as established sportsbooks in these States.
You will find the app on mobile browsers and in the App Store in the following states
- New Jersey
- West Virginia
States where it will soon be available
These are pending regulatory approval before they can go live
States available in partnership with William Hill
In these States, the app is called “The Ceasars sportsbook by William Hill”
- Washington DC
These operate on different rules and you will need to go to or be near, a Ceasar property to register. You can then bet from anywhere within the State once the verification is completed.
What Ceasars are saying about the launch
Tom Reeg, CEO of Ceasars Entertainment
“We are excited to launch our new comprehensive marketing campaign for Caesars Sportsbook. The rebranded and upgraded offerings for our Caesars Sportsbook will provide customized offers, flexible limits, a wide range of betting lines, and an intuitive user experience. Caesars Sportsbook also brings players into an empire of play where, win or lose, every wager gives them more through our award-winning Caesars Rewards.”
Clearly, Tom Reeg is happy with the launch and the app will have lots to offer bettors. There are mentions of customized offers for customers which are always popular.
Eric Hession Co-President of Ceasars Digital
“Caesars Sportsbook puts the bettor at the center of everything, We understand that we need to be nimble, we need to give bettors what they want in terms of depth of odds and breadth of sports, and we need to make our app easy and fun to navigate. But beyond that, we want to treat every Caesar’s Sportsbook player like a Caesar. And that means generous offers and a way to earn through Caesar’s Rewards.”
Another mention for offers and rewards and we are starting to see a pattern emerging of how the app will be. They are clearly focused on making the app easy to use and want to be at the forefront of the mobile betting market in the USA. Their brand is well known and this will drive customers to them. It will be interesting to see what figures they report, if any, for app engagement and handle.
How the Ceasars Sportsbook app looks
Here are some promotional screenshots
The design is clean with a white background, unlike many betting apps that go with color. The links across the home page make it easy to navigate around the app. Overall we have been impressed with the design and simplicity on offer from Ceasars.
As you can see from above there is a big push on Ceasar’s rewards where you get points when you bet – win or lose. These rewards build up and you can then cash them in. If you go to the rewards tab you will see all the information on how many points you have and what you can redeem them against.
The app is built on the Liberty platform which is well established in the iGaming industry. With their recent acquisition of UK-based William Hill, they acquired the software platform too. This has been a great purchase for Ceasars so far as it means they can move quickly in new markets with software that has been well established and tested.
Ceasars will push on in as many States as possible with this new platform. We expect them to be a big player in the US market over the coming years.
